I have always had a thing for drawing. It is something that I like to do and it keeps me occupied on days when I can’t find anything to do.
I recently took interest in an arts program at one of the local high schools. My parents looked into the program and went to the high school to see the requirements and what I would need to put together a portfolio for an interview.
Recently my mother and I got the privilege to go to a Christmas concert that raised money for a local Children’s Foundation. The concert began with the first Canadian idol winner Ryan Malcolm with his band Low Level Flight and The Sleddogs ended the night singing 4 songs.
One of my friends got the chance to meet the three Canadian Idol finalists Brian Melo, Jaydee Bixby and Carly Rae Jepsen, as they are on tour. As I am a big fan of Canadian Idol I asked my friend to get me an autograph of the three. She came back to school the next day and as an early Christmas present I received a personalized autograph from Brian Melo, Jaydee Bixby and Carly Rae. The three of them are still on tour and who knows, they my be stopping by your city.
