The Corby Rose Garden

The other day my parents and I visited the Corby Rose Garden in Belleville. We walked around the park, and my mother and I took pictures of the blooming roses and the various other plants that were in this Historical Park. On the plaque that they have in the park I read a brief history of when the park was donated and whom it was donated by. It said the park was donated to Belleville in 1905 by the Corby family. It was then reopened on June 28th 1967 for Canadian Centennial Year. Below are some of the photos that I took at the Corby Rose Garden.

I’m glad you took time to stop and smell the roses. Thank you for suggesting we take you there. I had not been there in so long. Your photos are beautiful Mr. D.
