The Country and Everything that’s Included!

I love driving out into the country. It is one place that is not destroyed by society. You feel so free because there are no city lights and traffic is so minimal. It is just me, my parents and the country that is around us. I enjoy photographing old barns, farm land and especially horses. As we were driving down the road we came up to a small farm that had three fascinating horses in there field. My dad pulled over and my mother and I both got out and approached the fence to take some photos of these beautiful horses. The weather was cold, and dark clouds were rolling in so I was suspecting it to rain. Do to our unfortunate luck with the miserable weather and the distance that the horses were at I did not think that I was going to get a decent shot of the horses. But I was wrong the horses slowly approached the small fence and put there heads over it as if to say hello. I was stunned on how well trained they were and I desperately wanted to reach out and touch them but, my mother not wanting me to get hurt or the owners to get upset said that I best not. As we turned to leave the fence where the horses still stood we saw the owner of the horses. It was an older woman and she told us about the horses and asked what we thought of her boys (the horses).
I had so much envy and I still do I envy anyone who owns so a brilliant animal. They are so intelligent and such a strong animal. So underneath are some of my favorite pictures that I took of the three horses.
What I like about this photo is how the older horse stood by the younger horse to protect him.

When we first walked up to the fence this young guy was grazing the field.

Great pictures! I love horses too.
We’ll have to take a drive again soon. I love how the horses came right up to the fence. You got some great shots.
