Iron World

On our way up to Picton on one of our Sunday drives we drove past what I thought was someone’s house. They had a statue of a man on a horse so I asked my father to pull over so I could get some photos for my blog. When we pulled into the driveway the yard was plastered with stone and iron statue and about five minutes later we found out that the “house” was actually a store called Iron world. So the photos that are below are from Iron world.
This is what got my attention as we drove by on our way to Picton.
These two photos are of an old stone Gypsy. It was so enchanting and it had something about it that made me want to have a picture of it.
The two photos above are of a victorian woman with flowers or grapes.

They really had some lovely stuff. You got some great shots.
That’s so awesome, I’d love to visit this place. Statues are few and far between in Tacoma so we need our own Iron World =)
The image of the victorian woman with the grapes is awesome. Her feet look almost real if glanced at!
You have amazing talent young Mr D. I hope you stay with it.
Thank you, my favorite photo is the 3rd one down from the top. I love the expression on her face.
Being a sculptor in stone with chisels back in the day, I can really appreciate the workmanship of those pieces and the scale. Really great shots with great shadowing, nice job!
