EQAO Testing

It is that time of year again where teachers round up there students and lock them in a tiny room. Yep you guest it, EQAO testing. For the last few days we have been sitting in our desk trying to remember what our teachers have been cramming in to our heads the entire school year.
EQAO testing started yesterday with two days down and one to go.
So there I am sitting at my desk for an hour filling in the answers to the test and I’m not allowed to leave the room if I finish early.
I feel like a prisoner who has had all his rights taken away. No talking, no getting up to get a drink, no washroom breaks, no wandering around the class room or any other thing that I may do on a regular bases. And finally once every one is done the test we go out side for about an hour then we come back in and the same routine starts all over again.
Tomorrow is the final test before it is all over! I can’t wait. Finally we are free; there will no longer be any more long exams until I reach high school!
So far I think I have done well on the test, I get great grades in class so I should have nothing to worry about, half of the test is multiple choice, and the other half is short answer questions. I think I got 90% correct out of the math section and I am pretty sure that I go 95% correct for my language section. I understood most of the questions and I think I only struggled with two or three questions.
What is the whole point of EQAO anyway? Is it to stress out the students or the teachers? Because after the events that have happened today, I think it’s caused more stress on the teachers, but that is another story. So I am about to turn in for the night, after a long day of testing and listening to my teacher scream at several students for reasons that I wont mention, I am wiped.
