She Won’t be Back

Coping with the moving away of a best friend is not easy and trust me, that is exactly what I am trying to do! Just recently one of the exchange students from Korea was at are school for a winter camp program, and after a month’s stay, she was transferred back home where she will teach other kids the English language. Unfortunately for me, I have to deal with the fact that she’s gone and the only way we can communicate with each other is through e-mail.
This won’t be the first time this has happened to me and certainly won’t be the last! Nobody likes change. In a previous grade, I became best friends with another exchange student who moved away. I lost touch of communication with her.
I hope it doesn’t happen to me this time. Why is it that the people that we become very fond of have to be the people that we are separated from.
I’m so sorry to hear this I know how hard it is to lose a friend that is an exchange student, I hope you will be able to stay in touch with them too.
